VH1 “MOB WIVES” CAST MEMBER GETS NYC RADIO HOSTS WHACKED OFF THE AIR

AM 970 The Apple Yanks Live Broadcast of “Family Business” With Hosts John and Derek Tabacco After Obscene Profanity Was Used by “Mob Wives”Cast Member on Sundays Show

April 20, 2011 –– New York, NY – Score the infamous AM 970 The Apple radio hosts, the Tabacco Brothers as the first casualties of Vh1’s new breakout hit reality show, “Mob Wives.” The body count stands at two after just one episode. After the “Mob Wives” premiere on Sunday, April 17, 2011 bringing in 2.2 mfiillion viewers - a VH1 best, mob wife Drita D'Avanzo gave an exclusive post premiere interview  live on the aptly named NYC radio show "Family Business" hosted by brothers John and Derek Tabacco, which airs on Sundays 10-11pm, carried on AM 970 The Apple. In response to a question about things that surprised her when seeing the reality show for the first time edited, mob wife D'Avanzo, unloaded with a semi-automatic rapid fire barrage of the FCC's 7 banned words. The volume of vulgarities, including numerous F-bombs, in which she responded – “oh s#@! I cursed!” after using one f-word, was too much for Apple management to be able to effectively censor. Now the Tabacco Brothers can no longer broadcast live, leaving the technology entrepreneurs who were creating the interactive web radio show, effectively dead, after just 2 shows – now “Family Business” and the Tabacco Brothers, sleep with the fishes.
